Restoration

Listed Building

Listed Buildings and buildings in conservation areas are of special importance to our heritage and our history.

In general Listed building consent should be obtained before any work starts.

Conservation areas are in general, areas of buildings and land that are deemed to be of importance in one-way or another.

Always check first with your local Conservation Officer before proceeding with any work.

Period Restoration

Period restoration is about saving our buildings, which do not have to be old or large.

Within a 25 mile radius of Wotton-Under-Edge we have many period properties, there may well be properties in your own town.

Restoration is the application of skills and materials for qualified persons to rejuvenate our heritage.

Roof repairs are necessary to ensure the water integrity of the building, if repairs are carried out at an early stage this will reduce the need for major works in the future.
